“Exotic Oasis with Amazing Staff and Stunning Villas”
My family and I just got back from our wonderful 7 night stay at this
beautiful resort in charming Jimbaran Bay (loved this area, highly
recommended!). The grounds of the resort are immaculately maintained,
the staff always welcoming and friendly and the manager goes out of his
way to ensure all guests are happy and catered for.
Our four bed villa was absolutely stunning and I won't forget the moment of awe we all had when we first walked through the charming wooden door and were greeted by the stunning views of the surrounding valley and a luxurious lap-pool. We were travelling for a few reasons, one of them being my sister's birthday where the staff organised a birthday cake for her! This was a really nice touch as it was not requested and a homely act of kindness!
The food at the resort was delicious, especially breakfast which was a highlight for everyone. There are so many options to choose from and each made fresh each morning by their talented chef. We also had the pleasure of having an in-villa BBQ where the chef prepared us a delicious dinner!
Location of Karma Jimbaran Resort is central and great for visiting the amazing beach. If you need to go anywhere they have a great transfer service and we had an amazing driver I would like to mention called Wayan Ari. He was so kind and genuinely caring about us. When I told him I was scared of monkeys (ha) he made sure that he kept them well out of my way on our day trips! Please don't hesitate to request him if you are staying at this resort (there are no monkeys at the resort, by the way!)
Cocktails were also great and we had many by the pool! The spa is very relaxing and I thoroughly enjoyed having a manicure overlooking the lovely main pool and a very rejuvenating massage.

“Very relaxing holiday resort”
We stayed here last week with another couple and were upgraded to a
magnificent four bedroom villa. The grounds are very spacious, elegantly
manicured and maintained. Even though the resort had a high occupancy
rate, we did not see a lot of people within the grounds. All the staff
are very friendly and helpful. We did not eat in the restaurant as our
villa had a fully equipped kitchen. If you like cooking, we recommend
participating in the cooking course run by the hotel kitchen chef. The
chef took us to the local markets where we bought fresh fish, prawns,
vegetables and spices. We took these back to our villa and cooked up a
magnificent lunch. There are several beach shacks in close proximity to
the resort. Our favourite are White Sands and Mama Donny. It takes about
one hour to walk along the beach from Karma to the fish markets. We
recommend that you do this at low tide! There are a couple of mini
marts, a money changer and pharmacy within easy walking distance however
Jimbaran is much quieter than Kuta or Seminyak and there are very few
shopping facilities close by. Our only criticism is that our pool did
not get any sun all day because of the overhanging foliage and could
have been a couple of degrees warmer.
“Fantastic”
We recently stayed in a four bedroom villa which was extremely spacious
and well appointed. Air conditioning worked very well and plenty of hot
water for showers including the two outdoor showers (nice touch)
Staff were very friendly and helpful as you expect in Bali, but still made sure they had your requests attended to. Villas were cleaned daily including pool and grounds.
Enjoyed many late night coffees and nightcaps chatting to the friendly barstaff after a great day at the beach or the fantastic seafood restaurants all very close by.
Highly recommended resort and very peaceful area to holiday in Bali will be back.
