“Wonderful rooms with a private pool and villa”
“Disappointing Honeymoon”
We spent months searching for the perfect honeymoon spot. We decided on
The Hill VIllas, and after five nights at the villa there was a fire,
which burned the whole resort down and we lost all of our belongings,
including our passports. We were lucky to escape with our lives, as we
had to run out the back of our villa, over a fence and through the
brush, leaving everything behind, including our clothes, shoes,
identification, cash, credit cards, and jewelry. We were bloody, bruised
and sore the week after, for the next six nights of our trip to Bali.
We were placed at a hotel in another hotel, but the hotel management
from The Villas, treated us terrible trying to get us to sign off on a
small amount of compensation for all the items we lost which included,
our brand new luggage, new mp3 player, camera, new clothes and assorted
items, and the cost of the next six nights for a villa that was now
burned to the ground. They harassed us daily and would try and talk to
us at the most inappropriate times and never truly tried to understand
our predicament and how we not only lost everything we brought with us,
but also the only honeymoon we will get together. We will never stay at
any property, or use any of the facilities, that is owned by these
people again, including their other facility called Taman Bhagawan.
